Sierra Grande, the town that will live again
Sierra Grande is the near town to Point Colorada and its future is green again because during the 90s it became a ghost town when IPASAM closed. IPASAM was a mining company that extracted underground iron and was a leading case in South America, with 10.000 citizens the town dropped to 4.000 after the close of the national industry when Carlos Menem reached the presidency. It was a time were public companies with deficit were put for private sale or rent and if don’t they become close. Now this little town is waiting for something amazing.
